Bike Rental & Tour Policies:

Optional Insurance: Customers are responsible for any damages to our rental bikes. We offer optional insurance for accidental damage that will cover up to $300 in accidental damages- this must be purchased prior to riding the bike. Accidental damage includes cosmetic damage to the paint (including dents and scratches), damage to the rims, damage to the grips and pedals, damage to the seat or fenders, chain, derailleur or kickstand. Customers are responsible for a $100 cleaning fee if the bike is taken onto the beach. Accidental insurance does not cover damage to sidecars caused by hitting something which results in damage to the shell, frame or fender. 

Dog Owners: Dogs must have a body harness to securely strap them in the sidecars, or you can rent one for $5.00. You can also rent goggles or pet helmets for $10 each. If your dog has a poo in the sidecar there will be a $25 cleaning fee, and we ask that you clean the poo out prior to returning the sidecar. We get that accidents occasionally happen, but we expect all humans to clean up after their own dogs. Note: If your dog does not do well in the sidecar, you may cancel the reservation BEFORE departing and you will be issued a store credit. If you depart our shop and return within 15 minutes due to your dog not liking the sidecar experience, you will receive a 50% refund applied towards a store credit. The majority of dogs enjoy the sidecar experience, but 3-5 percent do not seem to enjoy it. If your dog is scared of bikes or does not like riding in a car or having wind in their face, this is probably not the right experience to book.

Rental Refund: We will gladly refund any rental that is cancelled in writing at least 7 days in advance of the reservation. For reservations that are cancelled within 7 days of the reservation, a store credit will be issued. We will not issue any refund or store credit for customers that don't show up or that call us to cancel after their reservation has started or on the day of the reservation. There is no refund on discounted rentals booked online or through third-party booking platforms.

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation due to poor weather or if we believe the rider is incapable of riding safely. If we cancel the reservation a full refund will be offered.

Did You Fall in Love?

If you rent a bike and decide that you can’t live without it, we’ll gladly put your rental fee towards the purchase of a new bike. Take home a new bicycle within 30 days of your bike rental and we’ll credit you up to one week’s worth of rental fees!
